Lucario Best Nature and Moveset for Story

Adamant or Modest

Nature Stat Changes
Adamant Attack, SpAtk
Modest SpAtk, Attack

Since Lucario can work as either a Physical or Special Attacker, its Best Nature is either Adamant or Modest, depending on how you plan to build its EVs and Moves.

Give Lucario Adamant if you want to use it as a Physical Attacker, and Modest if you want to build it as a Special Attacker instead.

Alternative Natures

Nature Stat Changes
Brave Attack, Speed
Quiet SpAtk, Speed

You can also give Lucario either Brave or Quiet nature, allowing you to use both of its Physical and Special moves without much downside.

Keep in mind that giving Lucario any of the above two natures will increase the cooldown of moves, potentially making it less ideal for Competitive Play and harder post-game content.

Use Mints to Change Natures

Mint Usage

If your Lucario has a different Nature than the ones we recommend above, you can use a Mint to change its Nature.
Mints Locations and How to Change Nature

Best Lucario Moveset for the Story

Move Type Cooldown
Bullet Punch Pokemon Steel Type Icon 3
Swords Dance Pokemon Normal Type Icon 15
Ice Punch Pokemon Ice Type Icon 7
Close Combat Pokemon Fighting Type Icon 12

We recommend the moves Close Combat, Swords Dance, Bullet Punch, and Ice Punch when using Lucario during the main story.
