Resident Evil Requiem (RE9) Gameplay

Resident Evil Requiem brings together the two subgenres of horror present within the greater franchise. With the game split between protagonists Leon Kennedy and Grace Ashcroft, their respective sections will play out differently. First and fresher for the series, Leon's half will be similar to the two most recent installments, Resident Evil Village and Resident Evil 4 Remake. Gameplay with Leon at the helm will be more action-oriented and focused on taking the infected down with high-powered firearms and powerful melee moves.
On the other hand, Grace's gameplay sections will be more akin to Resident Evil 2 and Resident Evil 7: Biohazard. This means that her half of the game will lean heavily towards survival horror, with a focus on stealth and avoidance rather than combat.
