Players can evolve Floette by using a Shiny Stone on it at any time. Shiny Stones can be purchased at the Stone Emporium, or found throughout Lumiose City. Note that this only applies to regular Floettes and not Eternal Flower Floette.

Eternal Floette
|
Mega Floette
|
| Nature | Stat Changes |
|---|---|
| Bold | ↑ Defense, ↓ Attack |
| Calm | ↑ SpDef, ↓ Attack |
Due to Floette having very high Defensive stats, its best natures are either Bold or Calm to boost its Defense or Special Defense further.
Floette also has a better Special Attack stat compared to its Attack, so choosing one of the above natures allows Floette to still deal some damage with its Special Moves.
| Nature | Stat Changes |
|---|---|
| Relaxed | ↑ Defense, ↓ Speed |
| Sassy | ↑ SpDef, ↓ Speed |
You can also give Floette either Relaxed or Sassy nature, allowing you to increase your Defense or Special Defense at the cost of reduced Speed.
Keep in mind that giving Floette any of the above two natures will increase the cooldown of moves, putting you at a disadvantage against faster Pokemon.

If your Floette has a different Nature than the ones we recommend above, you can use a Mint to change its Nature.
