Marvel Rivals Drops a Second Disco-Themed Event Pass
Magik’s New Disco Skin Dazzles on the Battlefield

Marvel Rivals released an update on March 26, that includes a second disco-themed Event Pass, which will be available until April 9. The Event Pass, named "Flight Mode World Tour Merch Vol. 2," includes a free disco skin for Namor and unlockable skins for Star-Lord and Magik that costs paying 990 lattice, or the equivalent of $10, for the premium tier.
Magik’s new costume in this pass, the "Infernal Idol" skin, has become popular within the Marvel Rivals community due to its design and Legendary tier. The skin takes inspiration from Magik’s "Disco Dazzler" outfit on a variant cover for Uncanny X-Men issue #1 (2024), illustrated and designed by comic artist Pablo Villalobos.

As a Legendary-tier skin, Infernal Idol also comes with brand-new VFX, a new MVP animation, color palettes, an emoji bundle, and a dancing emote. The other skins in the pass, Star-Lord’s "Groovy Guardian" and Namor’s "Sea Samba" outfits, are Epic-tier skins that include dancing emotes, sprays, and emoji bundles.
This current disco-themed Event Pass is part of a larger "Disco Revolution" collection, which celebrates the 8th anniversary of Luna Snow’s debut. In previous updates, disco skins for characters like Psylocke, Hela, Spider-Man, and Luna herself were added to the game, but some of these were only available for a limited time.
Marvel Rivals’ Prepares for April Pool’s Day and Black Cat’s Arrival
The new update also includes fun additions for Jeff the Land Shark and Deadpool, particularly as April Fool’s Day approaches. An upcoming "April Pool’s Day" event will grant players a free interactive Jeff the Landshark emote that allows every other character on the roster to ride Jeff as a steed.
Alongside this, the update has already added even more new cosmetics for the cast, including dance emotes for Jeff and Deadpool and new Legendary-tier costumes for Captain America and Cloak and Dagger. Small balance changes have also been made to the game, nerfing Deadpool and Elsa Bloodstone while slightly buffing newcomer White Fox.

As for more upcoming news for Marvel Rivals, the Kingpin-focused season will see the addition of on-and-off Spider-Man love interest Felicia Hardy, aka Black Cat, to the roster on April 17, when Season 7.5 releases.
A recent interview with Marvel Rivals executive producer Danny Koo has also confirmed that a Nintendo Switch 2 port of the game is currently underway. Moreover, according to Koo, the game will not be receiving original characters anytime soon due to the sheer size of the Marvel Universe.
Marvel Rivals is out now for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. For more on Marvel’s multiversal multiplayer hero shooter, read our article here:
