Haunter will evolve into Gengar when traded to another player. To receive your own Gengar, you can send your Haunter to another person, and then ask them to give it back to you after it has evolved.

Linking Cord is not Available in Legends Z-A

You cannot evolve a wild Haunter naturally into a Gengar, and there is no Linking Cord in Pokemon Legends Z-A that is used for trade evolutions.

If you want to get a Gengar fast, trading with other players is the surest and fastest way to do so.
