ARC Raiders Sets Release Date for Flashpoint Update
Arrives on March 31
ARC Raiders will release its Flashpoint update on March 31 for PC and consoles after Embark Studios confirmed the date in a recent post on X. The upcoming update continues the game’s 2026 roadmap and introduces another set of content additions following earlier monthly releases.
The announcement included an image showing three Raiders gathered inside Speranza, presumably planning something. The post also included the message, "Truth is scarce and rumors spread. The Flashpoint is coming." While Embark Studios has not shared further details about the update, the roadmap they released early this year outlines what players can expect from Flashpoint.

The update is set to introduce a new ARC threat, or enemy machines encountered during raids, along with a new map condition that can affect visibility and movement. It will also include a player project with new objectives and rewards, as well as updates to Scrappy, the in-game companion that helps gather materials during runs.

Flashpoint marks the third major update in ARC Raiders’ "Escalation" phase, a series of updates that began with Headwinds in January and continues through April with Riven Tides, which is set to introduce a new map, a large ARC enemy, and a new Expedition window.
Recent Updates and Changes

A March 17 update, Patch 1.20.0, introduced bug fixes, cosmetic additions, and balance changes, including a rework to the IL Toro shotgun, particularly at range, reducing its overall effectiveness in mid-range engagements. The patch also adjusted its fire rate, reload speed, and damage falloff as part of the rebalance.
The first major update this year, Headwinds, released on January 27, introduced a matchmaking option that allows players to enter matches solo against squads. t also added a player project system called Trophy Display, which lets players hunt ARC machines and build out a trophy case to unlock rewards.

February’s Shrouded Sky introduced new ARC enemies, including the Firefly and Comet. It also added the Hurricane map condition, which brings strong winds, reduced visibility, and environmental hazards such as debris that can affect movement during raids.
ARC Raiders is available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Steam, and Epic Games Store. For more information about the game, check out our article below.
