Megahorn Effect

Has the user charge with its horns, dealing damage to opposing Pokemon it hits and shoving them. Immediately afterward, the user charges with its horn again and gains a shield. When the user is in No Retreat formation, it charges power before charging forward with its horns, dealing additional damage to opposing Pokemon it hits based on their max HP. When the user is in Dispatch formation, the troopers who are away from the column will also charge with their horns, along with the brass.

How to Use Megahorn

Utilize the Instant Boosted Attack Effect

Falinks' attack instantly becomes a Boosted Attack whenever it uses Megahorn. Since its Boosted Attack reduces the cooldown of Tackle, Megahorn or Iron Head, following up with a Boosted Attack immediately after using Megahorn allows Falinks to use the move more frequently.

This is especially true if Megahorn is used while Falinks is in No Retreat formation as the move's cooldown is pratically reset after performing a Boosted Attack.

Use as a Mobility Tool

Since Megahorn is a dash move, Falinks can use it as a general mobility tool for traveling faster. The move also allows Falinks to move through walls.

Stay Close to Targets While in No Retreat Formation

Megahorn functions differently if Falinks is in No Retreat formation. It essentially becomes a melee move instead of a dash move, but it deals significantly more damage compared to normal. In this case, Falinks needs to stay close to its target when it uses Megahorn while in No Retreat formation.

Hit Multiple Targets While in Dispatch Formation

Using Megahorn while Falinks is in Dispatch formation has the brass dash towards the designated direction, which is how the move normally works, while all troopers who are separated from the brass attack with their horns towards their facing direction. In this case, Falinks can hit multiple opponents with Megahorn simultaneously with the help of the troopers.

Note:
The troopers will only attack with their horns if the brass hits a target with Megahorn.
