What are EX Pokemon?

A Pool of Special Pokemon with Special Rules

EX Pokemon is a special group of Pokemon where certain rules in Ranked Battles are applied. The rules are explained above!

Designated by the Developers

The EX Pokemon classification is designated by developers throughout the lifetime of the game. Legendary Pokemon usually populate the EX Pokemon classification and they're mostly really powerful that can break the meta.

EX Classification Does Not Affect Pokemon Stats

It's important to note that the EX classification does not actually affect the Pokemon's power level during matches. EX is merely a notation that these Pokemon has special rules & conditions applied to them per Ranked Season.

Implemented From December 5, 2023
