Has the user move forward while striking with its sharp beaks multiple times, dealing damage to opposing Pokemon it hits. When the user's sprint gauge is full, the user dashes forward while striking with its sharp beaks multiple times, dealing damage to opposing Pokemon it hits and shoving them. Using this move fully consumes the sprint gauge.
Although you can use Drill Peck without a full Sprint gauge, the move will do more damage and be more effecitve if you use it with a full gauge.
One benefit of using Drill Peck with a full Sprint gauge is the added knockback effect, turning the move into a reliable crowd control move. You can utilize this effect by shoving enemies towards your allies or a wall, or to isolated certain targets.
The other benefit, and perhaps the best one, of using Drill Peck with a full Sprint gauge is the huge boost to the move's damage output, allowing you to burst down targets quickly. However, you do need to aim almost perfectly since the area of effect isn't that wide.
Jump Kick is a great way to set up for Drill Kick since the move stuns targets and fills up your sprint gauge quickly, making it easier to hit Drill Peck.

Alternatively, you can use Agility to quickly fill up the Sprint Gauge and use Drill Peck effectively. You'll also become immune to hindrances for a short time, allowing you to keep moving around.
