as a top 100 player when i played in masters back to back seasons then quit and even came back and tested both for past 3 days nonstop for many hours and mystical and drain is best because drain slows and can kite with it easier.
Sylveon is a nice and decent attacker, which is really cool too, because all of Sylveon's mix and matches are still pretty good. I like Sylveon Mystical Kiss, because it gives mobility. I used to play Hyper Mind, but sometimes I would miss and get killed :( My username is Alexkeet if anyone wanna check it out. Slyveon my main :)
Sylveon is a very good ranged attacker but is easy to burst down if not played properly. Espeon,Glaceon,Leafeon and Umbreon can easily disable Sylveon, so I recommend a held item that can stop hinderances like the full heal, so that you can escape when low hp, because most players target me for my low hp. If anyone likes to see my profile in Pokémon unite, my user is Wenty1.
Sylveon is one of the few Pokemon whose moves are all good. Draining Kiss gives healing, Calm Mind gives Sp. Def and Sp. Atk boost, and on upgrade grants nullification of damage, Mystical Fire has good damage and lowers cooldown, and Hyper Voice deals lots of damage. Honestly, imo you could choose whatever and you'd still have a viable moveset. That's just my experience, so it might be different for you
Hyper Voice and Draining Kiss wins teamfights. On its own.
Mystical fire and draining kiss
Draining kiss deals damage to opponent and gives it to you in the form of healing. Mystical fire is nice cuz every time an ember hits it charges the move so you can use it quicker which allows you to deal more damage over a short period of time

It's not bad I've got two wins with sylveon in a row in master and in both I got MVP.

Also draining kiss pre nerf was decent though.
Draining kiss is bad now try to change my mind Only good is that it heals you and lower the opponent's defense. Doesn't do any damage, you dont heal that much.
mystical fire + calm mind is the best build in my opinion. I used to dislike mystical fire, but now, it's good.
Calm mind and hyper voice post nerf unless you have an eldegoss or blissey on your lane then draining kiss mystical fire
calm mind hyper voice 100 percent after the nerfs hyper voice is still great.
