Mega Camerupt Best Nature and Moveset for Story

Modest or Quiet

Nature Stat Changes
Modest SpAtk, Attack
Quiet SpAtk, Speed

Since Camerupt is a Slow Special Attacker, its best Nature is either Modest or Quiet to boost its Special Attack further, while reducing its Attack or Speed stat respectively.

Alternative Natures

Nature Stat Changes
Mild SpAtk, Defense
Rash Speed, SpDef

You can also give Camerupt either Mild or Rash nature, if you will mainly use it for Story Content.

Keep in mind that giving Camerupt any of the above two natures will increase the damage it receives, making it less ideal for Competitive Play and harder post-game content.

Use Mints to Change Natures

Mint Usage

If your Camerupt has a different Nature than the ones we recommend above, you can use a Mint to change its Nature.
Mints Locations and How to Change Nature

Best Camerupt Moveset for the Story

Move Type Cooldown
Flamethrower Pokemon Fire Type Icon 8
Earth Power Pokemon Ground Type Icon 8
Earthquake Pokemon Ground Type Icon 10
Heat Crash Pokemon Fire Type Icon 10

We recommend the moves Flamethrower, Earthquake, Earth Power, and Heat Crash when using Camerupt during the main story.
