Drops icicles on the designated location, dealing damage to opposing Pokemon in the area of effect and decreasing their movement speed for a short time. The final icicle shatters after a set amount of time or when hit by the user's other moves or boosted attacks, dealing damage to opposing Pokemon in the area of effect and leaving them frozen. If the icicle is shattered by Tackle or High Horsepower, the ground is covered in ice, which increases the movement speed of ally Pokemon that run over it.

Always break the final icicle from Icicle Crash using boosted attacks or your moves. Breaking the final icicle with your boosted attacks or Earthquake triggers the freeze effect earlier and ensures that enemies get frozen. On the other hand, breaking it with Tackle or High Horsepower creates an area that increases the movement speed of ally Pokemon, including Mamoswine.

Just like Ice Shard, using Icicle Crash on your goal zones does not only interrupt enemies while they're scoring but also slows down their scoring speed due to Mamoswine's passive. In the case of Icicle Crash, this effect only triggers when the final icicle breaks.
Goal zones with this effect will have their floating ring covered in ice.

In certain situations, it's better to aim Icicle Crash manually on the ground to maximize its damage and effect. This is most effective on fleeing enemies.

Much like Ice Shard, using Icicle Crash makes your next attack a boosted attack. Utilize this mechanic to keep enemies frozen for as long as possible, especially during teamfights.
