Rock Tomb Effect

Rock Tomb In-Game.jpg

Splits open the ground toward the designated area, dealing damage to opposing Pokemon in the area of effect and creating a barricade of rock. If used again, gets rid of the barricade.

How to Use Rock Tomb

Aim Manually

As much as possible, aim Rock Tomb manually on the ground instead of relying on the auto-lock mechanic. Whether you're blocking an enemy's path or saving an ally, you'll have better chances on blocking or trapping enemies if you aim manually.

Trapping Enemies

Pokemon UNITE - Crustle Trapping Eldegoss Using Rock Tomb

You can completely trap enemies with the help of the environment in certain areas of the map, particularly near walls. This is a little tricky to pull off, but it's extremely effective when done properly.

Follow Up with X-Scissor or Stealth Rock

Pokemon UNITE - Crustle Using Rock Tomb and Stealth Rock

Depending on the build you chose, always follow up Rock Tomb with either X-Scissor, shoving enemies towards Rock Tomb's wall for the stun effect, or Stealth Rock, casting it inside the wall to deal AoE damage. This is most effective in teamfights, allowing you to also set up for your allies.
