Does the extra XP for the ally killing the pokemon only happen if the XP share holder is the lowest level on the team? or is that part of the items effects active all the time?

I'm not sure if it's stated here, but does the exp. share bonus for the pokemon without exp. share stack? For example, say we have 3 pokemon in a lane together, two are equipped with exp. share and the last one (refer as pokemon X) without it; and that the exp. share bonus is an additional 50%. Would pokemon X then gain 150%, 175% or 200% of the exp?

something that bothered me here, even without exp share if you are idle and you do not kill a Pokémon you wont evolve this is not just a trait of exp share but its how the game works in general. you will just have green exp no matter what, i understand that you get exp from exp share but on your evolution level all idle/ passive exp will be green exp that can be claimed by defeating a Pokémon or being near a assisted kill (I THINK)

Thank you for your comment. After doing a test, we found that both Pokemon with Exp. Share does get the passive exp. We hope we answered your question.

If there 2 exp share user in the team and both are the lowest out of the 5 pokemon, would both exp user get the passive exp?

The in game tool tip description has changed from what it was at launch, which leads me to believe it works differently now than it did then. This site needs to update their information.

Regarding not being near teammates while they farm... this seems incorrect as I just read the in game tool tip for this item, and it clearly states that allies will receive MORE experience from farming while you are near them. Can we look into this?

You state "you should not be near teammates who are defeating wild Pokemon." I know you don't get XP from your teammates killing wild Pokemon anymore, but are you hurting anything by being close? Do they get less or something? How close is too close?

Can confirm with slowbro, capped at level 3

Exp share is capped at evolution levels. Snorlax doesn't get capped at all, dwebble at level 3. Still testing but from the charmander screenshots that seems to be the case
