Mega Diancie Best Nature and Moveset for Story

Bold or Calm

Nature Stat Changes
Bold Defense, Attack
Calm SpDef, Attack

Due to Diancie having very high Defensive stats, its best natures are either Bold or Calm to boost its Defense or Special Defense further.

Diancie also has a better Special Attack stat compared to its Attack, so choosing one of the above natures allows Diancie to still deal some damage with its Special Moves.

Alternative Natures

Nature Stat Changes
Relaxed Defense, Speed
Sassy SpDef, Speed

You can also give Diancie either Relaxed or Sassy nature, allowing you to increase your Defense or Special Defense at the cost of reduced Speed.

Keep in mind that giving Diancie any of the above two natures will increase the cooldown of moves, putting you at a disadvantage against faster Pokemon.

Use Mints to Change Natures

Mint Usage

If your Diancie has a different Nature than the ones we recommend above, you can use a Mint to change its Nature.
Mints Locations and How to Change Nature

Best Diancie Moveset for the Story

Move Type Cooldown
Moonblast Pokemon Fairy Type Icon 8
Power Gem Pokemon Rock Type Icon 8
Calm Mind Pokemon Psychic Type Icon 18
Diamond Storm Pokemon Rock Type Icon 10

We recommend the moves Calm Mind, Power Gem, Moonblast, and Diamond Storm when using Diancie during the main story.
