Will Abilities and Held Items be in Legends: Z-A?
No Abilities in Z-A
Like Legends: Arceus, abilities will not be featured in Legends: Z-A. The only feature adapted from the mainline games into Legends: Z-A is the use of Held Items.
A possible reason why abilities are still not included in the Legends series is because the new battle system, which is way different from the one in the main games.
What Genre is Legends Z-A's Gameplay?
Held Items Featured in Z-A
Held Items are being adapted into the Legends series in Z-A. Aside from the use of Mega Stones to Mega Evolve Pokemon, Pokemon will now be able to use items in combat to gain various advantages, for example, HP recovery with Sitrus Berry!
