Has the user attach a flower bomb to an opposing Pokemon. The flower bomb can be detonated at will if the move is used again, and when it explodes, it deals damage based on the percentage of HP the opposing Pokemon has lost. If the user deals damage to an opposing Pokemon that has a flower bomb attached to it, the explosion's area of effect is increased and it deals increased damage. If the user knocks out an opposing Pokemon with this move, the move's cooldown is reset.
Once the flower bomb is attached to a target, it's best to focus on dealing damage to the marked target. Doing so increases the explosion's area of effect and allows Meowscarada to deal increased damage to the marked target. It also ensures that the move deals maximum damage once the flower bomb explodes.
Generally, letting the flower bomb explode by itself is the ideal startegy since it allows Meowscarada to deal additional damage before the explosion, maximizing the explosion damage. However, detonating the flower bomb early can be effective and necessary in some situations. Knowing whether to detonate the flower bomb early or let it explode by itself is key in using Flower Trick effectively.
Flower Trick's cooldown resets when it knocks out an opponent. Utilize this mechanic to spam the move and jump from one target to another.
