Grass root is the best thing for goodra since sliced bread. It affects not only his lifesteal but his ultimate and passive - turning the passive from a pit stop into a viable option whilst in combat (full on screaming lion vs thinking monkey meme)

I did it as a giggle in a regular game (pretty sure it was bots) and while Goodra WANTS to hit levels sooner, his clear is just not that fast. And he does have okay gank potential, but you'd have to run movement speed out of combat. As much as I personally would love it to work, Goodra just has too slow of a clear, due to both being a defender AND magic damage. Goodra wants to be in lane against other pokemon to get the full benefit of his moveset.

I think that Dragon Pulse/Power Whip is definitely the best Goodra moveset
no but it is definitely bad considering others need the jungle more
Mewtwo is not a Goodra counter, Zacian is a somewhat even matchup
Could you consider jungle goodra throwing?, because I found someone who is pretty insistent on it. And I don't know if the developers consider such as a throw. Imo it is
Why rocky helmet and assault vest... Buddy barrier and aeos cookie are better imo
