Has the user ready its giant sword, charge the sword with Aeos energy, and then slash in front of itself. The user becomes immune to hindrances while the Unite Move button is held down and the user is in its ready stance. The longer the user is in this stance, the more Aeos energy is charged into the sword, the more damage this move deals. If a set amount of Aeos energy or more is charged into the sword, the Unite Move becomes boosted, and the slash's area of effect increases. This boosted Unite Move deals increased damage to opposing Pokemon it hits who have been buffed by their own Unite Move.
After using Sovereign Sword, the Pokemon gains the following buff(s) for a few seconds:
Zacian | Shield granted. Movement speed increased for a short time. Reducing move cooldowns for a short time. |

It's best to always have just enough Aeos Energy to fully-charge Sovereign Sword before using it. The bonus damage from a fully-charge Sovereign Sword makes a significant difference.
Use Sovereign Sword to secure or steal boss Pokemon like Rayquaza. Just make sure to time it right to ensure Zacian deals the finishing blow.
Sovereign Sword can deal even more damage against opponents who have been buffed by their own Unite Move. This effect is ideal during teamfight. Wait for opponents to use their Unite Moves first before retaliating with Sovereign Sword.
1.9.2.6 | Fixed a bug where the effects of Energy Amplifier and Buddy Barrier activates even when Sovereign Sword is not active. |

1.12.1.3 | Fixed a bug that sometimes caused the Unite gauge charge to remain at 100% even if you cancel the purpose. |
