The score shield was somewhat justified but the buddy barrier got nerfed harder than it deserves, should of been nerfed, very slightly, but the nerf was to severely to be justified.
I think these patch notes are justified, azumaril is the least justified because it already sucked. Also, yay aegi got buffed my main. They made aegi more rewarding with makes it simpler. Although, my secondary, duraludon got nerfed, although I only used dragon pulse twice before the nerf, one after the Duraludon nerf and once before this patch note. Other than that I used flash cannon, so I did not feel the effects of the dragon pulse nerf.
Well they nerfed brave bird and unite slightly..
My expectations: Duraludon best moveset changed or A tier Trevenant would remain C Talonflame would remain S (this was made before the tier lists were evaluated)
I'm kind of giving up on this game. The nerf to the Buddy Barrier is stupid and unnecessary. Also, why nerf Talonflame when you can kill it pretty easily??? Not to mention it's the only viable speedster after they killed Zeraora with those nerfs. They buffed Alolan Ninetales two updates ago, just to nerf her again in the following updates, lol.
Some of the changes are warranted, but missed key nuisances. Wigglytuff it’s passive and stopping combo attacks (crustle - x scissor) and then sing with its duration just goofs every thing out of proportion. Talon flame needs more nerfing. It’s too OP with its damage and quick cooldowns.
Agree it seems like the developers don't actually play their own game. Score shield and buddy barrier could be a good change. It's been meta since launch to run those on most pokemon only leaving one slot to differentiate builds. I would prefer the idea of buffing other items instead of nerfing. Increasing score shield cool down from 5 to 20 seconds seems extreme though.
I'm beginning to feel that what I mentioned at the start is correct, namely that the programmers in charge of the Pokemon moves and stats have no idea what they're doing. It's really disappointing to see how ridiculous their nerfs and buffs are, particularly when it comes to nerfing talonflame when it's already paper and buffing aegis when it's already broken. Also the nerf for buddy shield and score shield was fucking unnecessary bro... like really bro...like just why...
