x speed? you kidding? full heal is the best option to prevent disables/cc's so that you can maximize ur cooldown advantage and so u could sustain & do damage lol. u already said petal dance is a life saver. only pokemon that destroys venusaur is delphox.

Just avoid opponents that can do heavy burst damage and you're good to go with gg drain petal dance build. Its an absolute beast in team fights. X speed is the best battle item and the added mobility of petal dance is a life saver. Dont Nerf it's movement speed too much. Recommended to start fighting opponents only after it evolves to ivysaur.

I use the CDR build every time and it's the best, just get the accelgor buff and you will never ever run out of petal dance time.

If anybody is looking to take advantage of venusaurs new buff, I recommend using the sustain build as it very useful pairing it with the defensive buffs Venusaur got. The only problem is that the assault vest doesn't help against physical attackers, but since the pokemon with the most top picks is Sp atk based, it's more useful than not useful.

yikes, this needs a buff. this pokemon is so underwhelming and underperforms in the current map and it's not in the meta anymore as it used to be in remoat stadium. It's kinda sad to see it fall.

Unless Charizard plans on sticking around with low hp, Venusaur isn't the most threatening to him. You will usually die to a Charizard of the same level
