BanG Dream! Our Notes Officially Announced
Releasing Globally in 2026
BanG Dream! Our Notes is an upcoming mobile game from the popular Japanese music franchise, set for a global release in 2026. As announced on its official X (Twitter) account on March 1, this new title highlights two of the newest bands in the series: MyGO!!!!!, a post-punk ensemble, and Ave Mujica, a gothic metal group.
Additionally, other bands such as Mugendai Mewtype, millsage, and Ikka Dumb Rock! will also make their debut in the game.
Following the success of BanG Dream! Girls Band Party!, the franchise’s latest title features a fully voiced, branching narrative. It focuses on the fresh new bands mentioned above, with MyGO!!!!! and Ave Mujica taking center stage.
According to an article by Games Press on March 1, players start from local rehearsals and work their way to sold-out stadiums, conquering the stage with rhythmic gameplay and an explosive setlist of original pop anthems. As the story progresses, bands such as Mugendai MewType, millsage, and Ikka Dumb Rock! are introduced, weaving a branching narrative of youth, friendship, and musical ambition.
Much like its predecessor, BanG Dream! Our Notes will have real-time multiplayer co-play, allowing players to rock on against one another in live showdowns. The game features over 25 characters across five bands, along with exclusive Band Story chapters that offer deeper insight into their hidden moments and the special bonds they share outside the anime.
JP Server Closed Beta Recruitment Now Open
Closed beta recruitment for BanG Dream! Our Notes’ Japanese server is now underway. Applications are being accepted until April 30, 2026, and fans can visit the official CBT page for more information on registering.
This testing phase is limited to 20,000 participants and is available exclusively for users running iOS 15 or later and Android 11 or higher. Players must also have a JP Bushiroad account, which requires information from a Japanese resident, such as a local address, mobile and telephone numbers, and others.
There is no announcement as of writing as to when the game’s global server will open its Closed Beta Test.
The CBT recruitment call was followed up with the game’s second PV trailer, which features snippets of its dynamic rhythm gameplay, intuitive band management, and story cutscenes.
Fans of the franchise also have the chance to win an exclusive autograph board featuring signatures from the game’s voice cast, including Hina Yomiya, Rico Sasaki, and Arale Nakamachi.
Those who wish to participate must follow the official @bangdreamon_EN account and repost the announcement post. The event runs from March 1 until April 1, 2026, 23:59 UTC+8 / 5:00 PT / 8:00 ET.
It has been nearly nine years since the debut of BanG Dream! Girls Band Party!, and fans are eager for a new title to usher in the next era of the franchise. Most notably, this upcoming game will break the series' "Japan-first" tradition, with Bilibili Games leading the charge for a global launch.
BanG Dream! Our Notes is scheduled for release in 2026 on iOS and Android. The game is confirmed to support languages for Japanese, English, Traditional Chinese, and Korean.
