Players can receive the Mewtwonite X through the internet on December 2, 2025. Note that the Side Mission, Project M (Side Mission EX2), cannot be unlocked unless you have finished the game.
Note that trainers cannot obtain the Mewtwonite X through regular playthrough and they can only have one type of each Mega Stone per save file.

Since Mewtwo can work as either a Physical or Special Attacker, its Best Nature is either Adamant or Modest, depending on how you plan to build its EVs and Moves.
Give Mewtwo Adamant if you want to use it as a Physical Attacker, and Modest if you want to build it as a Special Attacker instead.

You can also give Mewtwo either Brave or Quiet nature, allowing you to use both of its Physical and Special moves without much downside.
Keep in mind that giving Mewtwo any of the above two natures will increase the cooldown of moves, potentially making it less ideal for Competitive Play and harder post-game content.

If your Mewtwo has a different Nature than the ones we recommend above, you can use a Mint to change its Nature.
