Evolution Chart: How to Evolve Every Pokemon

Chespin Best Nature for Story

Adamant or Brave

Nature Stat Changes
Adamant Attack, SpAtk
Brave Attack, Speed

Since Chespin is a Slow Physical Attacker, its best Nature is either Adamant or Brave to boost its Attack further, while reducing its Special Attack or Speed stat respectively.

Alternative Natures

Nature Stat Changes
Lonely Attack, Defense
Naughty Attack, SpDef

You can also give Chespin either Lonely or Naughty nature, if you will mainly use it for Story Content.

Keep in mind that giving Chespin any of the above two natures will increase the damage it receives, making it less ideal for Competitive Play and harder post-game content.

Use Mints to Change Natures

Mint Usage

If your Chespin has a different Nature than the ones we recommend above, you can use a Mint to change its Nature.
