Abomasnow Best Nature and Moveset for Story

Adamant or Modest

Nature Stat Changes
Adamant Attack, SpAtk
Modest SpAtk, Attack

Since Abomasnow can work as either a Physical or Special Attacker, its Best Nature is either Adamant or Modest, depending on how you plan to build its EVs and Moves.

Give Abomasnow Adamant if you want to use it as a Physical Attacker, and Modest if you want to build it as a Special Attacker instead.

Alternative Natures

Nature Stat Changes
Brave Attack, Speed
Quiet SpAtk, Speed

You can also give Abomasnow either Brave or Quiet nature, allowing you to use both of its Physical and Special moves without much downside.

Keep in mind that giving Abomasnow any of the above two natures will increase the cooldown of moves, potentially making it less ideal for Competitive Play and harder post-game content.

Use Mints to Change Natures

Mint Usage

If your Abomasnow has a different Nature than the ones we recommend above, you can use a Mint to change its Nature.
Mints Locations and How to Change Nature

Best Abomasnow Moveset for the Story

Move Type Cooldown
Blizzard Pokemon Ice Type Icon 12
Ice Shard Pokemon Ice Type Icon 3
Leaf Storm Pokemon Grass Type Icon 10
Wood Hammer Pokemon Grass Type Icon 10

We recommend the moves Wood Hammer, Ice Shard, Blizzard, and Leaf Storm when using Abomasnow during the main story.
