# | Description |
1 | Roll the Dice to Start Moving To start with your exploration, roll the six-faced die to know how many squares you'll be moving! You may then choose if you want to reroll again using 100 Aeos Coins. You are guaranteed to get a higher number than your previous roll so take note of this in case you rolled a six (6). You can only reroll a die for a maximum of 5 times. Important: We suggest to always aim for a six (6) roll everytime you roll a die. This will hasten your progress to get Miraidon especially if you are free to play. Always spend Aeos Coins to get a six (6) roll else you run the risk of not getting enough coins before the event ends. ► See How Long to Get Miraidon |
2 | Finish Tile Missions Landing on a square will provide you with two Tile Missions. You may only roll a die after completing one (1) tile mission. Completing a tile mission will give you 10 Nightmare Periphery Coins. Note: You may also skip doing a tile mission altogether by spending 5 Aeos Gems. |
3 | Rinse and Repeat Once you've finished a tile mission, you can now roll a die again. Repeat from Step 1! |
4 | Reach the End to Obtain Nightmare Periphery Coins Once you've reached the end of the map, you will be rewarded with Nightmare Periphery Coins! The number of Nightmare Periphery Coins obtained is random. There is a 90% chance to get 100 Nightmare Periphery Coins while 150 Nightmare Periphery Coins has a drop rate of 10%. |
To dictate how many squares you're going to move, roll a die. A Tile Mission will start where you'll need to complete missions to further roll more dice.
Players can also reroll a die for 100 Aeos Coins to get a higher result. You can only roll a die for a maximum of 5 times.

We suggest to always aim for a six (6) roll everytime you roll a die. This will hasten your progress to get Miraidon especially if you are free to play else you run the risk of not being able to clear the shop before the event duration ends. |
Players can get 1 Die by completing missions in the Nightmare Periphery Coin Collection Challenge
Players can also get Dice by participating in the Periphery Support Log-In Bonus event.
When assigned a mission, players will have to finish at least one of them to get rewards and continue rolling more dice. Completing one mission will provide players with 10 Aeos Sandwiches. They can access the Tile Missions by pressing the button at the lower right section of the screen.
If you want to fast-track things by rolling more dice, you may instantly finish one Tile Mission for 5 Aeos Gems. You only have to finish one tile mission so spend only what you need.
Landing on a lucky square will enable players to advance further by 1-3 squares. This is random so it all comes down to luck in the lucky square!
Repeat steps 1 and 2 until you reach the end of the map. Reaching the end will reward you with Nightmare Periphery that you can use to exchange for Darkai's UNITE license in the Exchange Shop!
Jump to the Adventure Exchange Shop
As mentioned earlier, reaching the end of the map will reward you with Nightmare Periphery Coins that you can use to exchange for Darkrai's license in the Exchange Shop. Each map would require 16 steps to reach the end from the starting point.
The number of Nightmare Periphery Coins that players will get at the end of the map is random. Here are the drop rates:
Nightmare Periphery Coins Reward | Obtain Chance |
---|---|
Coins x100 | 90% |
Coins x150 | 10% |
If you cannot wait to get Darkrai, you can clear a map and obtain Nightmare Periphery Coins for 195 Aeos Gems. This also ensures that you will get the maximum sandwich count of 150 each time you clear the map this way!
All Nightmare Periphery Coins received from Darkrai's Sandwich Challenge can be exchanged here. This is where players get the Darkrai UNITE Licenses for FREE!
Notes from Game8 | We recommend not using Nightmare Periphery Coins to obtain rewards other than Darkrai's license. Only spend on other things if you have extra Nightmare Periphery Coins. |
Rewards | Coins Needed |
---|---|
Darkrai UNITE License | Coins x1000 |
Snapshot Frame | Nightmare Periphery Coins x50 |
Snapshot Background | Nightmare Periphery Coins x100 |
Costume Party Style: Darkrai | Nightmare Periphery Coins x1,100 |
Item Enhancer x300 | Nightmare Periphery Coins x80 |
7-Day Battle Point Boost Card | Nightmare Periphery Coins x80 |
7-Day Aeos Coin Boost Card | Nightmare Periphery Coins x160 |
3-Day Battle Point Boost Card | Nightmare Periphery Coins x40 |
3-Day Aeos Coin Boost Card | Nightmare Periphery Coins x80 |
Aeos Ticket x30 | Nightmare Periphery Coins x10 |
To get Darkrai's UNITE License, we estimate that players will need to faithfully log in and roll the daily log-in die for 15 days and complete 8 map rounds.
This is considering players get 10 Nightmare Periphery Coins every time they roll a six (6) & complete a Tile Mission, get 100 Nightmare Periphery Coins everytime they reach the end of the map, and used the 10 free dice from the Support Log-In Bonus and Nightmare Periphery Coin Collection Challenge events.
Darkrai can be obtained earlier if you managed to luck out and get multiple 150 Nightmare Periphery Coins at the end of maps or a bunch of lucky squares throughout the challenge. The estimation above is the worst case scenario so just keep playing if you really like Darkrai!
Do note though to always spend Aeos Coins to get a six (6) roll else you run the risk of not getting enough sandwiches to clear the exchange before the event ends. This is important especially if you're completely free to play.
If you really cannot wait to play Darkrai as early as possible, you can skip maps and obtain 150 Nightmare Periphery Coins instantly for 195 Aeos Gems.
Players will need to skip stages 7 times to get 1,050 Nightmare Periphery Coins - enough to obtain the Darkrai's Unite License.
This will require players to spend a whopping 1,365 Aeos Gems!
