We need a guide for this? No one will ever tell me which MC to pick or how to name them and so should no one. Everyone has their own preferences and ideas and that's completely fine! Which MC you choose has no Influence to the gameplay (only affects the rival you get, as the rivals are actually visual twins to the MC but with more colorful hair) and neither does the given name have any effect to the story. Everyone should take names THEY like, and if it's just the player's own name.
