You can obtain a Spewpa by completing the Side Mission, Spewpa in the Museum. This is a side mission from Bundo and Wanda, who can be found in Lumiose Museum. This Spewpa is special as it can evolve into the Marine Pattern Vivillon.
Side Mission 21: All Spewpa Locations Guide
Just like Scarlet and Violet, Legends Z-A only has one available pattern for Vivillon, the Meadow Pattern! Any Spewpa or Scatterbug caught in this game will only evolve into a Meadow Pattern Vivillon!
You can obtain Vivillon with other patterns by transferring them to Legends Z-A via Pokemon HOME. Transfer via HOME will be available in 2026.
Do note that any Vivillon transferred to Legends Z-A from Generation VIII and IX will not be able to return after being transferred.

| Nature | Stat Changes |
|---|---|
| Modest | ↑ SpAtk, ↓ Attack |
| Timid | ↑ Speed, ↓ Attack |
Since Vivillon is a Fast Special Attacker, it's best Nature is either Modest or Timid to boost its Special Attack or Speed further, while reducing its Attack stat.
| Nature | Stat Changes |
|---|---|
| Mild | ↑ SpAtk, ↓ Defense |
| Rash | ↑ Speed, ↓ SpDef |
You can also give Vivillon either Mild or Rash nature, if you will mainly use it for Story Content.
Keep in mind that giving Vivillon any of the above two natures will increase the damage it receives, making it less ideal for Competitive Play and harder post-game content.

If your Vivillon has a different Nature than the ones we recommend above, you can use a Mint to change its Nature.

This information isn't fully correct; meadow form is NOT the only vivillon form in the game! I'm not entirely certain to the extent of it, but after getting the gift Spewpa from the museum side quest and evolving it, it had the Marine Pattern! I'm not sure the extent to this; if it just gives one at random, if you can get the others in game, and I wish I could know, so hopefully others can contribute.
