Klefki Best Nature and Moveset for Story

Bold or Calm

Nature Stat Changes
Bold Defense, Attack
Calm SpDef, Attack

Due to Klefki having very high Defensive stats, its best natures are either Bold or Calm to boost its Defense or Special Defense further.

Klefki also has a better Special Attack stat compared to its Attack, so choosing one of the above natures allows Klefki to still deal some damage with its Special Moves.

Alternative Natures

Nature Stat Changes
Relaxed Defense, Speed
Sassy SpDef, Speed

You can also give Klefki either Relaxed or Sassy nature, allowing you to increase your Defense or Special Defense at the cost of reduced Speed.

Keep in mind that giving Klefki any of the above two natures will increase the cooldown of moves, putting you at a disadvantage against faster Pokemon.

Use Mints to Change Natures

Mint Usage

If your Klefki has a different Nature than the ones we recommend above, you can use a Mint to change its Nature.
Mints Locations and How to Change Nature

Dazzling Gleam Pokemon Fairy Type Icon 8
Calm Mind Pokemon Psychic Type Icon 18
Heal Block Pokemon Psychic Type Icon 12

We recommend the moves Flash Cannon, Dazzling Gleam, Heal Block, and Calm Mind when using Klefki during the main story.
