Complete Side Mission 141

The Crabominite can be acquired by completing Side Mission 141. The Mega Stone is obtainable through this method only and players cannot have more than one Crabominite per save file.

They also cannot give away Mega Stones through trading Pokemon that are holding them.

Equip Mega Stone
Mega Evolve by pressing Right Analog Stick
Trigger Mega Power

The Crabominite is used to Mega Evolve Crabominable which temporarily buffs their base stats and changes their abilities. This can be accomplished by equipping the stone to the relevant Pokemon, then filling up and activating the Mega Power bar.
