How to Get Staraptite
Defeat Rogue Mega Staraptor
You can acquire the Staraptite by defeating the Rogue Mega Staraptor in Hyperspace Mission 02.
Rogue Mega Pokemon are wild Pokemon that Mega Evolve without a trainer and are much stronger than regular Wild Pokemon. However, you do not have to face them alone as you will often be accompanied by an ally from Team MZ when taking them down.
The Mega Stone is obtainable through this method only and players cannot have more than one Staraptite per save file. They also cannot give away Mega Stones through trading Pokemon that are holding them.

The Staraptite is used to Mega Evolve Staraptor which temporarily buffs their base stats and changes their abilities. This can be accomplished by equipping the stone to the relevant Pokemon, then filling up and activating the Mega Power bar.
