How to Get Mewtwonite Y
Mystery Gift Mewtwonite Y Available Starting December 2!
Players can receive the Mewtwonite Y through the internet on December 2, 2025. Note that the Side Mission, Project M, cannot be unlocked unless you have finished the game.
Note that trainers cannot obtain the Mewtwonite Y through regular playthrough and they can only have one type of each Mega Stone per save file.
How to Redeem the Mewtwonite Y Mystery Gift

| 1 | First unlock the rewards feature in Mable's Research and make sure you are connected to the internet. |
| 2 | Press X to open up the menu. |
| 3 | Select Link Play then select Mystery Gift. |
| 4 | Select "Get via Internet" and look for the Mewtwonite Y Mystery GIft. |

The Mewtwonite Y is used to Mega Evolve Mewtwo which temporarily buffs their base stats and changes their abilities. This can be accomplished by equipping the stone to the relevant Pokemon, then filling up and activating the Mega Power bar.
