How to Use Sport Balls
Lock in with ZL, Catch with ZR

A special Poke Ball that was used during the Bug-Catching Contest in the Johto region. |
Use Sport Balls to catch wild Pokemon by aiming with ZL and throwing with ZR. You can also sneak up or lower a Pokemon’s HP to increase your chances and take advantage of stunned Pokemon after they’re knocked out for an easier capture.
