Ignite Midnight Effect

The user seals the area around itself in darkness and obsucres opposing Pokemon's vision for a short time. If this Unite Move is used again, the user continuously fires a beam of fire in a designated direction, dealing damage to opposing Pokemon it hits. The beam can be directed while fired, and its final blast deals increased damage.

UNITE Move Effect

After using Ignite Midnight, the Pokemon gains the following buff(s) for a few seconds:

How to Use Ignite Midnight

Activate When a Fight Breaks

It's best to use Ignite Midnight only when a fight starts. The move's vision obstruction effect is an extremely powerful tool to have during teamfights, causing a bit of chaos on the enemy team.

Just remember to be close enough to enemies when activating the move since the effect is applied to targets around Chandelure.

Use the Second Activation Carefully

Using Ignite Midnight again has Chandelure fire a constant beam of fire at a direction but will be immobilized while channeling. This beam deals significant amount of damage to enemies hit for its full duration. Given this, choosing when to use it and who to target are crucial in maximizing the beam.

Control the Beam's Direction

Remember that the beam's direction can be controlled by moving the D-pad. Use this mechanic to priotize targets during fights to avoid wasting the beam.

Set Up with Poltergeist or Imprison

The best way to ensure that the beam hits enemies is by using Poltergeist or Imprison first before unleashing the beam. Use the time window after activating Ignite Midnight initially to place Poltergeist or Imprison to stun enemies, then immediately follow up with the beam.

Watch Out for Stuns

Make sure that Chandelure is safe from stuns while channeling the beam since getting stunned stops the Pokemon from firing it. Chandelure does not gain a unstoppable buff when firing the beam, so it's prone to stuns.
