Has the user hurl a shadowy blob in the designated direction, dealing damage to opposing Pokemon it touches and applying a mark to them. If the user attacks marked opposing Pokemon, it deals additional damage to them. If the user attacks marked opposing Pokemon, it deals increased damage to them. The fourth time the user attacks marked opposing Pokemon, the mark is removed, but the damage dealt by the attack is further increased and the user recovers HP. After using this move, the user moves a short distance in a designmated direction.
After marking opponents with Shadow Beall, always bombard them with Standard or Boosted Attacks, making Dragapult's attacks to deal more damage. Moreover, attacking marked targets four (4) times will deal additional damage and heal Dragapult.
If Shadow Ball hits multiple opponents, it's best to focus on one target at a time and trigger the bonus effects. Ideally, you'd want to aim for your intended target first, then move to a new target only when they get knocked out or at least when the bonus effects triggers.
After breaking invisibility, use Shadow Ball immediately, then utilize the attack speed boost from Phantom Force to strafe a marked target with attacks. This allows Dragapult to trigger the additional damage and healing effect faster.
Dragapult can also use Dragon Dance to quickly attack marked targets and trigger the bonus effects. However, since Dragapult attacks randomly during Dragon Dance, you may need to do some clever play to ensure that at least one (1) marked target gets hit four (4) times to trigger the effects.
After using Shadow Ball, Dragapult can dash a short distance towards a specific direction. Use this dash to quickly reposition and make plays to win fights.
