Has the user jump in the designated direction, dealing damage to opposing Pokemon it hits during the jump and applying a mark to them. After the user hits opposing Pokemon with this move, it jumps again in the designated direction. When the user lands, its next basic attack becomes a boosted attack and it charges at a nearby opposing Pokemon. If a marked opposing Pokemon is knocked out, all of the user's move cooldowns are reduced.
Since defeating a target marked by Double Hit reduces the cooldown of all your moves, it's best to focus on that marked target and burst it down quickly to trigger the cooldown reduction effect. Aim squishy targets first so it'll be easier to trigger the effect.
Whenever you successfully defeat a marked target and trigger the move's cooldown reduction effect, find another target and do the process again to fully utilize Double Hit. However, this only applies if there are still enemies present nearby, otherwise, it's not necessary.
If you're not using Double Hit to knockout targets, you can use it to traverse walls or objects for quick escapes. Moreover, it also means you can pounce on targets from behind walls or objects.
After using Double Hit, your next basic attack has you lunging at a nearby target. Because you can't choose a target to lunge at, it's best to stay close to your desired target to increase the chance of lunging at it. Be guided by the circle around you, enemies outside the circle can't be a target anymore when you lunge.
