Future Sight Effect

Has the user lock on to an opposing Pokemon, then deal damage a few seconds later to opposing Pokemon in an are of effect centered on the locked-on Pokemon. More damage is dealt the lower the locked-on Pokemon's remaining HP is. While the user is locked on to an opposing Pokemon, its other moves will target that Pokemon whenever possible. Each time one of these moves deals damage, Future Sight's cooldown is reduced. If the locked-on Pokemon is on the opposing team and is knocked out before the area-of-effect damage is dealt, a single powered-up use of Psyshock or Stored Power becomes available for a short time. When Psyshock is powered up, it hurls stronger psychic projectiles at a designated location that also cause an explosion, dealing damage to opposing Pokemon in the area of effect. When Stored Power is powered up, it unleashes an increased number of psychic power blasts and restores the user's HP when the blasts hit.

How to Use Future Sight

Use in Conjunction with Other Moves

Pokemon UNITE - Future Sight - Secure Kills

Future Sight allows you to deal more damage since its cooldown gets reduced with every projectile hit with Stored Power or Psyshock.

Use It to Get More Move Activations

Pokemon UNITE - Future Sight - Get More Move Activations

Knocking out a target with Espeon's other move during Future Sight's activation will gain you a second activation of that other move. However, this strategy is difficult to pull off.

Secure Kills

Pokemon UNITE - Future Sight - Secure Kills

Future Sight is a great tool for securing kills since it attaches to the target and deals more damage the lower its HP is.

Stored Power Patch History

1.7.1.2 Cooldown decreased from 9s to 8s (-1s).
1.16.2.8 Damage increased by 10%.
