Gameplay Overview

MACROSS -Shooting Insight- is a shoot 'em up game featuring multiple gameplay styles, including horizontally scrolling shooting, vertically scrolling shooting, and 360-degree scrolling shooting. Players can synchronize with songstresses to trigger buffs and debuffs, such as enhanced firepower, improved maneuverability, or reduced enemy fire speed.
You will pilot your ship or mech and shoot at opposing enemies flying in to complete levels and earn high scores. Each pilot has different ships and mechs with different stats, so you must carefully choose which pilot's story you will go through as they go on their quest to rescue their songstresses.

Fan Favorite Songs Return

The game will include songs from throughout the MACROSS series. Players can harness the power of these songs to gain an advantage in battle by synchronizing with songstresses during stages. This activates various buffs and debuffs, such as increased firepower, enhanced maneuverability, and reduced enemy fire speed.

Six Stories To Unfold

The game features around six stories, each centered on characters from different eras of the MACROSS series.

MACROSS -Shooting Insight- Plot

MACROSS -Shooting Insight- revolves around a galaxy-wide threat involving Battle 7. Multiple dimensional folds across space-time have merged characters from various eras of the MACROSS series into a single timeline. As a result, all the songstresses have been kidnapped. Players will take on the roles of different pilots, experiencing their unique perspectives and stories as they attempt to rescue the songstresses.
