Hyper Voice Effect

Hyper Voice In-Game.jpg

Unleashes an attack of multiple sound waves that deal damage when they hit. The damage they deal increases farther the target is from the user. Every time a sound wave hits, the next sound wave's damage increases.

Has Damage Cap

Pokemon UNITE - Sylveon

The move's description where it states, 'Every time a sound wave hits, the next sound wave's damage increases.', is a little misleading. The damage increase per sound wave is not innate to the move itself, but rather refers to Adaptability/Pixelate. When you have max stacks (6 stacks) of the passive, then use Hyper Voice, you'll notice that the damage is constant per sound wave, even at max range (as shown above).

How to Use Hyper Voice

Keep Distance

Pokemon UNITE - Sylveon Using Hyper Voice on Talonflame

Since Hyper Voice deals more damage the farther the target is from Sylveon, keep your distance so your targets are at the tip of Hyper Voice's range, maximizing its damage. In a teamfight scenario, it is best to stay behind a durable ally that can soak damage while you use Hyper Voice, preferably a Defender Pokemon.

Get Proper Position

Try to get a decent position before using Hyper Voice to avoid wasting it. Always manuveur around to adjust your position while your using it. You can use Eject Button to reposition quickly before or during Hyper Voice when needed.

Fairy Frolic Cancels Hyper Voice

Pokemon UNITE - Sylveon Cancels Hyper Voice Using Fairy Frolic

During Hyper Voice, you can't use your other move except your Unite Move, leaving you vulnerable to attacks. You can use Fairy Frolic to end Hyper Voice early, avoiding all incoming damage. This is useful in situations where you have low HP and need to cancel Hyper Voice to escape or survive.

In Unite-DB, it is said that "Every sound wave reduces enemy Sp. Defense by 20% for 1.5s (capping at 80%)". What do you think about this information? Is it true? Cause, as you've said in Hyper Voice section, after pixelate is at its maximum, the damage that every sound wave causes is the same.
