Future Sight Effect

Has the user shove the designated opposing Pokemon and lock on it. The locked-on opposing Pokemon will have its movement speed decreased and take increased damage. After a set amount of time, this move deals damage to the locked-on opposing Pokemon based on the amount of damage it took while locked on.

How to Use Future Sight

Keep Enemies at Bay

Use Future Sight to shove opponents that are approaching Mewtwo Y, particularly melee Pokemon. This allows Mewtwo Y to stop opponents from pursuing it and keep them at a good attacking range.

Shove Enemies Towards Allies

Mewtwo Y can also use Future Sight strategically by shoving targets towards the Pokemon's allies, which is a great way to set up a knockout. One way to execute this is by using Teleport or Eject Button to move in front of the target, then pushing them back with Future Sight.

Deal Follow-Up Damage

Always follow up with attacks or let allies deal damage after shoving a target with Future Sight. A short time after the target is shoved, it takes additional damage that's based on the damage it received while locked on. This damage has a great potential to deal tons of burst damage so maximizing the follow up damage is important.

Future Sight Patch History

1.16.2.8 Movement speed reduction increased from 25% to 35%. Cooldown decreased from 10s to 8.5s.
1.12.1.4 Increase to damage dealt with effect toned down from 20% to 10%. Future Sight +: Increase to damage dealt with effect toned down from 30% to 15%.
1.12.1.2 Additional damage reduced from 2000 to 1500. Cooldown increased from 8s to 10s. Stun effect decreased from 0.75s to 0.5s. Fixed a bug that made some Pokemon's moves unusable.
