Covet Effect

Covet In-Game.jpg

Has the user run with all its might, dealing damage to opposing Pokemon it hits and throwing them. The user then becomes resistant to hindrances for a short time. While running, the user drops Berries from its body. If the user eats a dropped Berry, its movement speed is increased for a short time. The more Berries the user eats, the more its movement speed is increased. In addition, Tackle, Belch, or Bullet Seed can also be used while the user is running. Using this move will reset the cooldown of Tackle or Belch.

How to Use Covet

Go in Circles

Pokemon UNITE - Greedent Using Covet

It becomes hard to control your movement during Covet. Try to go in circles to stay close as possible to enemies and knock them up, especially during teamfights.

Use Bullet Seed and Belch

Pokemon UNITE - Greedent Using Belch During Covet

Always use Bullet Seed or Belch during Covet to make the most out of its effects, especially when you have unlimited berries from Berry Belly Flop. If you don't have the unlimited berries effect, try to fully stack your berries first before using Covet so your other move gains the benefit of maxed berries.

Utilize Movement Speed and Unstoppable Status Effect

Pokemon UNITE - Greedent Escaping Absol Using Covet

Utilize Covet's movement speed increase and unstoppable status effect to escape enemies or chase them. This is most effective when trying to get out of the enemy speed flux zones or chase enemies inside it.

Remember that the more berries you pick up during Covet, the faster you'll move.

Cancel When Necessary

Pokemon UNITE - Greedent Cancelling Covet

You can end Covet early by pressing its button again, allowing you to move normally. Cancel covet when it's necessary, especially when it leads to a kill.
