Draining Kiss Effect

Has the user blow a kiss at an opposing Pokemon that goes back and forth between the user and the opposing Pokemon multiple times. When the kiss touches the user, it restores its HP. When it hits the opposing Pokemon, it deals damage to it and decreases its movement speed for a short time. If the user and the opposing Pokemon move too far away from each other, the kiss will disappear faster than normal.

Utilize the Healing

If you're low on HP, don't hesitate to use Draining Kiss on wild Pokemon to heal up. It's better if you stay in lane and keep farming, especially when pressuring lanes.

Follow Up With Attacks and Moves

Pokemon UNITE - Sylveon Using Draining Kiss on Blastoise

To make most out of Draining Kiss' slow effect, always follow up with standard attacks to trigger the movement speed increase from your boosted attack. You can also use Draining Kiss to set up Hyper Voice or Mystical Fire.

Get Close for Burst Damage and Healing

Pokemon UNITE - Sylveon Using Draining Kiss on Venusaur

Since Draining Kiss bounces back and forth between the target and Sylveon, you can transform Draining Kiss into a burst damage/healing move by sticking closely to your target. The only downside is ending the move early, making you unable to utilize Draining Kiss' slow effect.

Draining Kiss Patch History

1.7.1.11 Cooldown reduced from 10s to 9s. (-1s) HP recovery effect increased. Draining Kiss+: HP recovery effect increased.
1.17.1.2 Healing decreased by 8%.
1.16.1.2 HP recovery increased by 23%. Slow effect changed from 20% for 1.5s to 50% that decays by 20% every 0.5s for 1s.
