Hex Effect

Hex In-Game.jpg

Gengar disappears then teleports and repeats at the target location. When Gengar reappears they deal damage to Pokemon in a small area around the location. If the enemy Pokemon is affected by debuff, this skill damage is increased and cooldown is reduced.

Upgrade: Increased damage.

How to Use Hex

Burst Down Enemies Inflicted with Sludge Bomb

Pokemon UNITE - Gengar Using the Sludge-Hex Burst Combo

Hex allows you to teleport and deal damage to any Pokemon within the target location. The damage is increased and the cooldown is significantly reduced whenever you hit a Pokemon that is inflicted with at least one Status Effect. Starting with a Sludge Bomb leads to extremely high burst damage and lets you chase down fleeing opponents with ease. This makes Gengar an excellent ally to pair up with Pokemon that inflict Status Effects such as Pikachu and Venusaur.

Teleport out of Harm's Way

Pokemon UNITE - Gengar Dodging Moves with Hex

Defensively, Hex's long reach allows Gengar to manuever around enemy attacks. You can dodge moves and reposition Gengar depending on the situation.
