Ritualist Ascendancy
The Ritualist embraces the dark side of the Huntress' ways. It focuses on corrupted arts that allows her to cause enemies to burst upon death by desecrating their bodies. The Ritualist also has the ability to equip an additional ring and enhancing all equipped rings' effects.

Additionally, the Ritualist can also perform rituals to absorb rare monster's modifiers or sacrifice your own life to invoke a random elite monster's power and use it for yourself.

Amazon Ascendancy

The Amazon allows you to exploit weaknesses againt elites that gives you the extra damage you need to take these strong foes. You are also able to convert your excess accuracy to critical hit chance.

You are also able to leech life from your elemental attacks and gain health from mana potions and mana from health potions which makes the Amazon a great ascendacy choice if you want to gain extra damage and dueling capability.

Should You Pick Ritualist or Amazon?

Ritualist is the Best Ascendancy

The Ritualist is arguably the better option among the ascendancy choices for the Huntress. It easily overshadows the Amazon's damage capabilities with its unique utility skills like being able to increase your trinket's stats and gain multitude of stats to increase your character's overall performance.

Dexterity Focus

The Huntress is a Dexterity-based class, it's a hybrid combatant focused on using both melee and ranged attacks during combat. The Huntress is capable of using bleed-inflicting attacks as well as large AoE-centric elemental attacks while being a hyper mobile class that can weave itself in and out of combat.

How to Play Huntress

Weave Combos in and out of Combat

The Huntress is focused on combining its own skills by fighting in both melee and ranged combat. Unleash strong AoE close ranged DPS to whittle enemies in your vicinity and demolish enemies from afar with destructive elemental spear attacks.

Parry, Gain Frenzy Charges, and Counter Enemies

The Huntress focuses on using a Buckler as an Offhand that allows her to parry enemy attacks and leave them vulnerable to a counter. Parrying also grants you a Frenzy Charge which allows you to unleash devastating counters against enemies and open up new combo choices from a defensive skill.

Combo your Attacks With Elemental Attacks

You can combo several moves that allows you to grant attacks with additional attributes. An example would be the Huntress' Twister attacks. Using it on Elemental Ground allows you to add that ground's elemental attribute to your twisters. Combo around the twister to unleash devastating elemental hurricanes to your foes.
