The Huntress in Path of Exile 2 (PoE 2) is a class that weaves in both melee and ranged, and also ascend into a Amazon or Ritualist in Path of Exile 2 (PoE 2). The Ritualist embraces the dark side of the Huntress' ways. It focuses on corrupted arts that allows her to cause enemies to burst upon death by desecrating their bodies. The Ritualist also has the ability to equip an additional ring and enhancing all equipped rings' effects.
Additionally, the Ritualist can also perform rituals to absorb rare monster's modifiers or sacrifice your own life to invoke a random elite monster's power and use it for yourself.
Ritualist Ascendancy Overview and Skills
The Amazon allows you to exploit weaknesses againt elites that gives you the extra damage you need to take these strong foes. You are also able to convert your excess accuracy to critical hit chance.
You are also able to leech life from your elemental attacks and gain health from mana potions and mana from health potions which makes the Amazon a great ascendacy choice if you want to gain extra damage and dueling capability.
Amazon Ascendancy Overview and Skills
The Amazon is currently the best ascendancy option for the Huntress. It gives the Huntress everything she wants that will further the class' capabilities, be it critical strikes or elemental attacks. The Amazon is a purely offensive ascendancy and you can't go wrong with this choice.
The Ritualist, while good on paper, is an ascendancy that is hard to maintain through the progression process, meaning it only shines when you already have a strong foundation in the latter stages of the game.

The Huntress is a versatile class that uses its abilities to mow down enemies in close and ranged combat, making it easy for damage setups with its mobility and range options.
The Huntress is a Dexterity-based class, it's a hybrid combatant focused on using both melee and ranged attacks during combat. The Huntress is capable of using bleed-inflicting attacks as well as large AoE-centric elemental attacks while being a hyper mobile class that can weave itself in and out of combat.

Consumes the Parried Debuff on Hitting enemies to release a shockwave and grant you a Frenzy Charge. This skill can be used while using other skills, and causes Strikes and Projectiles to miss you while jumping. This skill cannot be Ancestrally Boosted.
![]() Whirling Slash Perform a circular slash that kicks up a Whirlwind around you, Slowing enemies and Blinding them in its area of effect. Leaving the area collapses the storm, dealing damage and causing Knockback.

If a twister touches a Whirlwind from your other skills, it Consumes the Whirlwind to create additional twisters that deal more damage. ![]() Explosive Spear Hurl a single payload Spear that pierces through enemies and lodges in terrain where it lands. The Spear will explode at the end of its Detonation Time or if Detonated. Consumes a Frenzy Charge if you have one to explode immediately, dealing more damage in a cross-shaped area and creating Ignited Ground.
![]() Rake Dash towards an enemy and perform a lacerating slash, inflicting Bleeding on all enemies struck.
![]() Rapid Assault Perform a series of six rapid stabs. The final stab inflicts Bleeding and leaves a spearhead stuck in the target, Maiming them for a duration. Detonator Skills will cause the stuck spearheads to explode, dealing further damage to the target and other nearby enemies.
![]() Herald of Blood While active, killing an enemy with Blood Loss will cause a bloody explosion that deals Physical Attack damage to surrounding enemies based off the life of the exploded enemy, destroying their Corpse in the process. The explosion also has a chance to aggravate Bleeding.

![]() Wind Serpent's Fury Consume all Frenzy Charges to perform a gigantic spear thrust that Knocks Back enemies. For each Frenzy Charge consumed, a Wind Serpent follows in the spear's wake. Each Serpent also damages and Knocks Back enemies, and knocking an Enemy into terrain or another larger Enemy will cause a shockwave.

![]() Spear of Solaris Build Glory by Heavy Stunning enemies. When you have maximum Glory you may call forth the Azmeri goddess Solaris, jumping backwards and throwing your Spear in the air. On landing the spear deals heavy damage in an area, then calls a divine skybeam that pulses periodically and creates expanding Ignited Ground. Modifiers to number of Projectiles fired do not apply to this skill.

While you're mounted on the Rhoa, you can only use Bow, thrown Spear and Mark Skills, you run at full speed when attackin, and Hits against you cause Heavy Stun buildup. While you aren't mounted, the Rhoa attacks your enemies alongside you with its beak, but can be damaged.

![]() Attrition While active, causes you to deal more Hit damage to Rare and Unique enemies the longer you've been fighting them, and gain Culling Strike against them once you've been fighting them for long enough.

![]() Trinity Become attuned to all Elements building up Fire, Cold, and Lightning Resonance based off the highest Elemental Damage type dealt by your Attack Hits. Your Elemental Damage with Attacks is greatly enhanced the more Resonance of any type you have.

The Huntress is focused on combining its own skills by fighting in both melee and ranged combat. Unleash strong AoE close ranged DPS to whittle enemies in your vicinity and demolish enemies from afar with destructive elemental spear attacks.
The Huntress focuses on using a Buckler as an Offhand that allows her to parry enemy attacks and leave them vulnerable to a counter. Parrying also grants you a Frenzy Charge which allows you to unleash devastating counters against enemies and open up new combo choices from a defensive skill.
You can combo several moves that allows you to grant attacks with additional attributes. An example would be the Huntress' Twister attacks. Using it on Elemental Ground allows you to add that ground's elemental attribute to your twisters. Combo around the twister to unleash devastating elemental hurricanes to your foes.
