The Dawn of the Hunt introduced the Lich Ascendancy, giving the Witch additional options for minion builds. Similar to the Infernalist Minion Witch build, this build will utilize Summon Raging Spirits, Skeletal Arsonist, and Flame Wall.

However, that is where the similarities end. The Lich ascendancy class provides the new Necromatic Conduit
・Lose 5% of Mana per Second.
The way Necromantic Conduit functions is that your minions must be in your presence for the buff to take effect. And for the mapping setup, we would use the Withering Presence skill gem to increase their Chaos damage taken.
With that in mind, you'd need to be in a position where Withering Presence is being consistently applied to your enemies, while your minions should also be in your presence to take advantage of Necromantic Conduit.
This can take some time, as you need to be in the right places for each engagement. Play too close and you'll put yourself in harm's way, play too far and you'll miss out on important DPS.

The Rattling Scepter will be your primary weapon of choice, giving you access to two free skeletal minions. Aim for +levels on your Minion skills, as it will increase all damage dealt by your offensive Minions in the field.
List of Weapons
The Bones of Ullr's Grid Sandals should be the first unique you look for, as it allows us to get more minions out into the field. Ideally, you would look for one with a movement speed stat that allows you to cover distances much faster.
For your armor, prioritize increasing your elemental resistances, followed by energy shield and maximum mana.
The build will not invest in the Life stat, as we will rely on Eternal Life
The Evergrasping Ring adds additional chaos damage to your minions, which works well with Despair and Withering Presence. This speeds up your mapping tremendously.
However, Resistances take priority, so be sure to get your resistances up to a comfortable level before considering using other accessories to increase damage.

Your choice of runes will depend on the current elemental resistances of your equipment. Use runes to fill in the areas where your resistances are lacking.
Once your resistances are capped, use Iron Runes if your defenses are still lacking, or use Mind Runes to hit maximum mana breakpoints for more damage.

Because of the build's lack of mobility skills, getting hit by an enemy attack with crowd control effects can be devastating, as you lack the tools to safely disengage.
The Silver Charm, Nascent Hope Thawing Charm, and Stone Charm are there to mitigate the effects of Slow, Freeze, and Stun, respectively, as standing still can mean a quick death for the Lich.

As with minion-centric builds, minions will be the primary source of damage. **Skeletal Frost Mage, Skeletal Arsonist, and Raging Spirits will be the primary minions that frontload our damage, with Zombies and Skeletal Warriors providing additional tanking and frontline support.
Pain Offering and Bone Offering will be used to support our minions, which along with Skeletal Clerics will increase the survivability of all minions and improve their damage output.
The rest of the skills are used to complement the minions in the field, with Despair, Withering Presence, and Frost Bomb used to lower resistances, and Flame Wall and Ember Fusillade used exclusively to generate Raging Spirits.

The passive tree selections are standard for Minion builds, buffing their damage, health, respawn rate, and critical chance. Open Mind is taken to counter the mana drain of the Necromantic Conduit, and can be skipped if you have mana regeneration from your gear.
Towards the end of the game, Soulless Form and Eternal Life are taken for survivability, so we take nodes that increase our Energy shield. Luckily, there are a few in close proximity, so Enhanced Barrier and Patient Barrier are taken.

For general mobbing, take Skeletal Arsonist and Raise Zombie as there would be plenty of corpses for you to use.
This should be your opening rotation, while the rest of your mob combat interactions should just be refreshing debuffs or replacing your downed Zombies with new ones.
When fighting bosses, you will need to adjust your skill usage based on the boss's next move, as your priority will be to dodge incoming attacks before using your skills.
Be sure to refresh Despair whenever possible, as you and your minions are all dealing Chaos damage thanks to Necromantic Conduit, and keep recasting Wall of Flame whenever it's safe to do so, as the damage from Raging Spirits is still formidable when enough of them are in the field.
Once you have upgraded your equipment, you can easily clear maps with your Skeletal Frost Mages.
[Pay close attention[/red] to the number of Command: Ice Bomb charges you currently have, and wait out the cooldown if necessary to make sure you have the right amount of charges before entering the next pack.
