Sell All Item Drops

Path of Exile 2 - Sell

You can sell all the loot and gear you have obtained throughout your progress at any vendor you can find for Gold. Try to hold on to more Magic (blue) and especially Rare (yellow) items, as they sell for a lot.

These vendors, like Una, can easily be found in towns like Clearfell Encampment.

Salvage Quality and Socketed Items

You can sell all equipment drops you get but make sure you salvage Quality and Socketed items to gain materials that increase your weapon and armor quality.

Equip Items with Increased Rarity of Items Found

"Increased Rarity of Items Found" is a modifier that can be found on some equipment that increases the value of drops. Having this modifier on you will net you rarer and more expensive loot, which you will be able to sell for more Gold.

The Golden Charm is one such Charm whose base effect is to increase the rarity of items found.

Play Through Maps with Modifiers

Waystones are items that are part of the Atlas of Worlds Endgame that allow you to enter different maps with different modifiers.

Enter maps with modifiers like "Increased Gold Found", "Increased Rarity of Items Found", and "Increased Amount of Rare Chests" to increase your chances of farming more Gold and higher quality loot that sell for more.

Where to Spend Gold

These are the ways you can spend your hard-earned Gold in Path of Exile 2:

  1. Purchase Items from Vendors
  2. Gamble for Better Gear
  3. Respec Passive Skills
  4. Currency Exchange

Purchase Items from Vendors

Una
At vendors and merchants, you can purchase a wide variety of useful items, like powerful weapons and armor, as well as Scrolls of Wisdom that allow you to identify items.

Note that a vendor's stock refreshes every time you level up, so check out their wares every now and then!

Gamble for Better Gear

Gamble for Better Gear

The best way to spend your Gold is to gamble for Uniques at a certain vendor to help complete your build. Keep in mind that the rarity ranges between Normal, Magic, Rare, and Unique so only gamble when you have the extra gold for it.

Respec Passive Skills

Reset Passive Skills

Resetting passive skills takes a good amount of gold, especially if you want to respec your entire passive tree. If you are planning on switching builds in-game, make sure you have enough Gold to respec the passives you need and optimize your build.

How to Respec

Currency Exchange

Currency Exchange

The Currency Exchange Market allows you to post your items for selling, and have other players buy it in exchange for other currencies you might be needing with a small gold fee. Each order requires a gold fee for it to process so make sure you have enough before you start trading your items.
