All Ascendancy Trials |
To get Ascendancy Skill Points to progress your Ascendancy Class, you must complete the daunting Ascension Trials!
The first instance you can get Ascendancy Skill Points is through the Trial of Sekhemas in Act 2. Upon first completion, you will be able to unlock your Ascendancy Class and be rewarded two Ascendancy Skill Points to use!
The second instance is through the Trial of Chaos in Act 3. Finishing it for the first time will reward you with another two Ascendancy Skill Points for a total of four points before Cruel Mode.
After the first two instances of the trials, you will be able to rerun both the Trial of Sekhemas and Trial of Chaos during Cruel Difficulty to get two points each upon completion. However, the last four points require a higher Area Level or a higher number of trials to obtain them.
You can get up to a maximum of eight ascendancy points to strengthen your ascendancy class!
Rewards | Trial of Sekhemas Requirements | Trial of Chaos Requirements |
---|---|---|
5th & 6th Ascendancy Skill Points | Lv. 60+ Djinn Barya No. of Trials: 3 |
Lv. 75+ Inscribed Ultimatum No. of Trials: 10 |
7th & 8th Ascendancy Skill Points (Last Skill Points) |
Lv. 75+ Djinn Barya No. of Trials: 4 Defeat Temporalis |
Lv. 75+ Inscribed Ultimatum No. of Trials: 10 Defeat the Trial Master (unlocked by obtaining three fates) |
Area Level may vary, so base the condition on the number of trials instead on each Ascendancy Trial.
The Ascendancy Class is essentially the specialization or sub-class of your main class. Allotting points into their exclusive skills can drastically change or improve your already set build, meaning there are more avenues for you to explore!
Furthermore, Ascendancy Skill Points are not in the same pool as your passive skills, meaning the Ascendancy Skills are an individual boost of power to add to your build.
