How to Power Level Alts |

|
If you want to level up your alternate character quickly, consider joining a party to clear content as fast as possible. Party members can split up and clear mobs in different parts of the map to gain experience after killing enemies.
There are two options when joining a party: either the high-level members of your party are downscaled to a level somewhat close to yours, or they retain their strength at the cost of low-level members receiving an XP penalty.
It's best to choose downscaling high-level players to avoid XP penalties, even though it'll be tougher to deal with mobs. However, with the right techniques to efficiently clear maps while avoiding damage, itwon't be a problem.
Uniques have fixed modifiers that can help clear mobs efficiently. Some uniques have low-level requirements or none at all, making them perfect early-game gear that you can use for a long time before equipping something else.
You can just leave the uniques on your stash while playing as your old character, as the stash is shared among all characters, and your new alt will simply pick the unique and equip it.
You can use the gold from your old character to gamble for better gear from Finn on Act 1, Risu on Act 2, or from Alva from Act 3, since gold is shared among characters. There is a chance that you'll get uniques via this method, so it's not a bad thing to spend gold on.
Once campaign content's finished, and the alt has unlocked the Atlas endgame, use waystones that increase experience gained from monsters to boost the XP for low-level players.
