POE 2 Second Race Event
The second race event in Path of Exile 2 (PoE 2) will have players rush to beat Doryani in an SSF Act 3 and begin on May 25, 2025, at 8:00 PM (UTC). Learn how to join the second race event, including its mechanics, schedule, and the rewards related to this event!

How to Join the Second Race Event

Join Through the Character Select Screen

Path of Exile 2 Join Race Event

To participate in the Second Race Event, click on the prompt on the bottom right of the Character Select screen. You will then receive a prompt to create a fresh character around the seven classes available, where the Huntress is now made available for this race.

Keep track of the competition by checking the best times of the class you are using to compare times and come up with strategies on how to improve your times by clicking on the external link below!

Second Race Event Mechanics

Rush to Defeat Doryani in Act 3

Path of Exile 2 - Doryani Overview
Like in the first race event, you will need to defeat Doryani in Act 3 in record time. The race will have you start over from Act 1 up to Act 3 in a Standard format.

The race will have a Self-Found fixed layout to guarantee fairness for all the participating players, allowing the possibility of forming strategies unique only to the race! While it is not in Hardcore Mode, you will incur a one-minute penalty upon death, barring you from movement.

Note: This table is included to provide samples on different timezones. These times can be subject to change depending on your server time!

The second Race Event will start on May 25, specifically at 20:00 local server time. Afterward, there will be the second race on June 1, and the third and final on June 8; both starting at 20:00 local server time.

All players will start the race simultaneously, so it would be best to join the races as early as possible to avoid giving other players a headstart! If you are interested in watching top-tier players, the second race will be streamed in PoE's official Twitch account!

Second Race Event Rewards

Demigod's Virtue Golden Visage

Path of Exile 2 Demigod
The top placement for each of the seven classes will receive the Demigod's Virtue Golden Visage unique item as a reward. Each race will cycle through the whole armor set, so you can eventually complete the Demigod's Virtue set!

A Remove-Only Stash Tab will be available for a month after the race, where the item is slotted in for you to retrieve your reward. After receiving the item, you are free to do with the item as you please, even trade them.

Additionally, note that there are no limitations to how many races you can join, meaning you can get multiple Demigod's Virtue if you are that good!

Class-Tailored Deskpad

Path of Exile 2 Class-Tailored Deskpads
The fastest player out of all three races for each class will receive a deskpad tailored around that respective class, allowing them to show off their class mastery in their personal space! If you were the fastest in multiple classes, you will also receive multiple desk pads.

Personal Divination Card Design

For the fastest player overall out of all three races, they will have a Divination Card design inspired around them, showing that any Exile can come close to deific status with enough effort!
