When viewed using the Map Device, the Sacred Reservoir will first appear as the Temporal Sandstorm. Since this is area contains a Deadly Map Boss, there is a specific mechanic you must complete before you can enter the map.

Activate the Temporal Tethers

You must look for and activate three Temporal Tethers within the maps surrounding the Temporal Sandstorm in order to get rid of the sandstorm. Once the sandstorm has been cleared, it will now appear as the Sacred Reservoir.

Azmadi Overview

The boss of Sacred Reservoir is a more powerful version of Azmadi, the Faridun Prince from the Recruit the Maraketh Interlude Quest. They have the same movesets, but with significantly more health and damage.

Make sure to watch out for his telegraphed attacks, as these help you determine when to dodge and counterattack.
